The reflective qualities of water have inspired this piece in which the forest depicted represents the individuation of an individual as they strip off the many masks of the conscious, to reach the subconscious, represented by the avian statue in the background. A pool of water is like an eye, which in looking at you reflects you to yourself, the water being a constant reflection of the sky, is redefined by everyone reflected in it, the water holds within it an alternative world to our own, one we ingest daily to survive.
